Enjoy a late morning or early afternoon of painting and goodies when the Class of 2027 hosts a Canvas & Cookies painting event on Saturday, April 13. Two sessions will be hosted to accommodate painters of all age groups (10am families with students k-5, Noon adults & students grade 6 and up). Sessions will be led by retired Chatham art teacher Patrice Tomaso featuring a design for elementary and a sunset scene for adults & students grade 6 and up. Cost is $15 per person, which includes a canvas and various baked goods to choose enjoy. All proceeds will benefit our freshmen class. The CHS robotics team, Artemis (6621), is competing March 22 and 23 in the FIRST Tech Valley Regional at the MVP Arena in Albany. You can watch the competition live at https://www.twitch.tv/firstinspires9 or in person: the event is open to the public with no charge for admission!

Sometime during the week of March 25, 2024, we will practice lockdown drills in all three of our school buildings. Officers from the Chatham Police Department, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Police will assist us. As you know, it is important that we periodically practice these drills with as many different variables as possible; our goal is to make sure our students and staff are prepared and safe.
