TO BENEFIT THE CHATHAM SILENT FOOD PANTRY
Collection Dates: Monday, January 23th thru Thursday, February 9th
The MED “Houses” will have a friendly school wide competition to fill houses with food in our community! The winning “House” will be treated to a pizza party on Friday, February 10th.
Send in items with your child to give to their homeroom teacher. Staff will collect the items each day and will tally them by room/house.
The food pantry went through a renovation recently and has plenty of fridge space to accept the following:
- Milk
- Eggs
- Butter
- Cheese
- Yogurt
- Fresh Fruits and Veggies
All cold items will be delivered same day!
In Demand Items:
- Personal Hygiene (Soap, Shampoo, Razors, Sanitary Napkins, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Hairbrushes
- Peanut butter and Jelly
- Granola Bars and pop tarts (family favorites)
Pantry Items Desired:
- Any canned soups, sauce, Spaghettio’s
- Canned veggies
- Rice
- Any boxed foods (Mac n’ Cheese, Pasta, Cereal)
Other Items Accepted:
- Playing Cards
- Baked Goods
- Flashlights
- Batteries
- Hair ties / Headbands
