The Chatham Central School District has four candidates running for four open seats on the Board of Education. The candidates will appear on the ballot in the following order:

Fred Hutchinson
Marianne Pierro
Muriel Faxon
Chatham’s School Board Election will be held as part of the annual School Budget Vote on May 17, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Mary E. Dardess Elementary School gym. The candidates who receive the highest and second-highest number of votes will be elected to three-year terms. The candidate who receives the third-most votes will serve a two-year term; this shorter term is due to the planned reduction of the Board from nine to seven members, which voters approved in 2020. The candidate who receives the fourth-most votes will serve a one-year term, which fills the remainder of a term left vacant by a resignation.
