5 students holding D.A.R.E. flag

The fifth grade kicked off its 2021-22 D.A.R.E. program on September 15. The Drug Awareness Resistance Education program focuses on students gaining knowledge and skills they can use to make safe and responsible choices in all aspects of their lives. Deputy Wendy Guntert, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office D.A.R.E. Officer, will be teaching the program here at MED each Friday through November. The Sheriff's Office offers this program at no charge to our school.
