Mrs. Murray and Mrs. Reichardt combined their fifth-grade math and science classes for an activity on how to use a stopwatch, read the time and record the time correctly. These skills are prerequisite for an upcoming fifth-grade NYS Science Investigation students will complete. Students timed themselves at tasks that ranged from jumping jacks, snapping their fingers, and writing math facts, to skip counting and listing different animals! Students also had time to come up with their own challenges.
