On May 28th, students in the 4th grade embarked on an exciting team building adventure called My Side of the Forest, inspired by the novel My Side of the Mountain. This day-long outdoor survival simulation was facilitated by the staff at Flying Deer Nature Center. Students participated in team building challenges such as a blindfold challenge, a campsite construction challenge, and a shelter challenge.
