earth and moon models on lawn

During their astronomy unit, CHS science teacher Tom Gazda split his Earth Science classes into groups to answer the question, "If the Earth was the size of a classroom globe, how big would the Sun and Moon be?" Then they went outside, built a scale model and filmed this video using the science department's new drone. Funding for the drone was provided by a grant from the Chatham Education Foundation of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. Thank you CEF!
