Kindergarteners in Mrs. Baskiewicz's class celebrated Groundhog Day February 2! Students made predictions about whether Punxsutawney Phil would see his shadow or not before viewing the results. Cheers rang out when he predicted an early spring! Students then made crowns showing the results and groundhog puppets to give their own voices to. The youngsters then looked at the science of light and shadows before making their own shadows using flashlights!
