Congratulations to Chatham senior Noah Hutchinson, who was named one of the top 10 scholar-athletes in Section 2 by the Capital District National Football Foundation (CDNFF).
Every year, each school in Section 2 nominates their representative to receive the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award. Out of those awardees the CDNFF committee picks their top 10, factoring in academic achievements and performance on the field throughout the students’ high school careers.
Along with being a member of National Honor Society and a frequent flier on our high honor roll, Noah was named a Class D South Division 2nd Team All-star in 2021 and Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.
Being selected for the top 10 is a significant achievement for Noah considering that the CDNFF chose him from all the nominations, regardless of school size, in the entire section! He is the third player to achieve this accomplishment in Chatham football history.
