As part of his Life Skills learning, CMS student Dylan Davey helps out around the building by collecting recycling, making deliveries, and assisting Michelle Rideout, CMS’ senior food service helper, with taking out the cafeteria's garbage every day. He is always stoked for Thursdays when the County Waste truck comes to pick up the dumpster and empty it out. Knowing Dylan is a big fan of County Waste, Ms. Rideout and CMS receptionist Ann O’Neil arranged a special surprise for him. This morning when County Waste rolled up in their big truck, Dylan got to meet some of the guys, take a ride in the truck, and see how everything works! They also presented Dylan with a backpack stuffed with cool things like safety vests, a hat, mini trash can, frisbee, and toy trucks. Special thanks to County Waste and operations manager Ryan Allen, district manager Chris Harrison, and driver Joe Bertoldi for coming out today to give Dylan an experience to remember! Every one, every day!
