2024 Prom Dress Drive: donate your clean, gently worn dresses to the Prom Dress Fund. All donations will be used to provide area students with free dresses for the March 30, 2025 Free Prom Shop. The Class of 2027 is hosting their second annual Canvas & Cookies painting event on Saturday, December 14. Enjoy a late morning of painting, cocoa, and baked goods as we begin the winter season! The cost is $15 per person which includes a canvas, access to painting supplies, and various baked goods to choose from. All proceeds will benefit the sophomore class. Our Faculty vs. Faculty Basketball Game is Wednesday, November 13 at 6pm in the CHS gym! MED & CMS faculty take on the CHS faculty. Suggested donation is $2 for students/$5 for adults. Proceeds benefit the Class of 2025.
Our girls varsity soccer team takes on Mechanicville in the Section 2 Class B championship this Friday, November 1, 5pm at Stillwater HS. The CHS Pops Concert is this Wednesday, October 30, 7:30pm in the CHS auditorium. Featuring the CHS Chorus, Concert Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Band. A donation at the door is encouraged to support the Fine Arts Booster Club. Come dressed in costume to be entered for a chance to win a prize.
If you plan on trick-or-treating in the village this Halloween, be sure to stop by CMS. Chatham teachers will have a tent set up out front and will be handing out candy from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Halloween night!

Attention students age 16 & older, our next Driver Education Pre - Licensing Course
is Thursday, October 17 & 24 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at CHS, room 104.
Cost is $35. This 5-hr course is a prerequisite to obtaining a NYS driver's license, sponsored by DMV. This class provides an opportunity to gain classroom exposure to defensive driving principles and other factors that can affect driver behavior. Space is limited – early registration is recommended. Chatham Central Schools will dismiss all students approximately 15 minutes early today, October 4, as part of our annually required Go Home Early Drill. The purpose of this drill is to practice our schools’ emergency dismissal procedures and you are receiving this message as a test of our emergency notification system.
