Chatham Middle School’s Peer Buddy program is helping our 6th grade students make connections in their school. Cross-grade-level interactions are important in creating a culture of empathy and understanding, so the guidance department pairs 8th grade students with 6th graders who are interested. They meet Friday mornings to play games and talk, and the program is thriving!
