Ms. Thorsen's CMS Life Skills class did some pumpkin math, pumpkin carving, and pumpkin eating with the help of Mr. Fortran and Ms. Fisher! First, the students measured the circumference, height and weight of each pumpkin, and guesstimated how many seeds were in each. The students then carved their pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns and afterwards the class roasted the seeds for a snack. Wally Engel from our transportation department donated the pumpkins to the classroom in the beginning of October.
