302 rubber bands! That’s how many it took to explode a watermelon. Students participating in Chatham Middle School's Extended School Year 2022 program with Mrs. Thorsen experimented with watermelon activities this week. Some of them got covered in watermelon pulp (especially Mrs. Thorsen). As part of the experiment, the students guessed how many rubber bands it would take to do the watermelon in. Dylan Davey won the guesstimate with his guess of 300 rubber bands!
