The Chatham Education Foundation (CEF) is seeking new Board members.
What is the CEF? The CEF works to enhance and enrich the educational experience of students and teachers in the Chatham Central School District. CEF is supported by two endowment funds: the Chatham Fund for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities and the Alexander M. White Fund, funds of Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
Who are the CEF? They are a dedicated board of directors composed of community members, parents, school personnel, and students who encourage creative and innovative learning that enhances the curriculum.
What types of projects? They have supported projects as wide ranging as artists and musicians in residence, gardening, robotics competitions, literary magazines, living history projects, filmmaking, and building a longhouse.
