Congratulations to Artemis 6621, Chatham High School's robotics team, who, in their alliance with two other teams, took first place in the 2025 New York Tech Valley Regional Competition! Individually, Artemis came in second place out of 56 teams! The competition, which brings teams from all over the country and other parts of the world, took place March
"We have great kids. They have put in hundreds and hundreds of hours to build and practice, and code the robot," said team advisor Sandy Fischer. "We were seen as an underdog going into this competition. We definitely threw them a curveball because nobody predicted us to do as well as we did."
As winners of the Tech Valley Regional, Artemis qualified for the First Robotics Competition World Championship happening April 16-19 in Houston, Texas!
