three students holding award that looks like Guns N' Roses album

With the school year winding down, the Freshmen Team at CHS handed out Chatham's newest award last week, the Appetite for Instruction Award. A play on the title of the classic 1987 Guns N’ Roses album Appetite for Destruction, the award was given to freshmen students who want to learn, work hard toward the goal of learning, and have a positive attitude toward school. The three recipients were Leo Jiang, Lion Bianchi, and Jenna Davis.

This was truly a collaborative effort, with social studies teacher Peter Cook initially coming up with the award's title, science teacher Tom Gazda working as project manager, and junior Sasha Langley and art teacher Christina Scott doing some impressive Photoshopping. Congratulations to the award winners!
