The Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA) has honored Chatham High School senior Jenna Palubeckis and math teacher Katharine Curtis as part of their Capital Region Students and Teachers Who Make a Difference awards. This annual event recognizes the highest achieving Capital Region high school seniors and gives each student honoree the opportunity to nominate a teacher who they feel made a significant impact on their education. “I chose Mrs. Curtis for this recognition because of the support I have received from her these past four years of high school and for the kindness she has shown me,” Jenna stated.
As part of this honor, CASDA published a write up on Jenna and Mrs. Curtis, which can be viewed at https://www.casdany.org/2024-recognition.
