Alaina Graziano, daughter of Stacy and Ralph Graziano of Ghent, is Chatham High School’s Class of 2024 salutatorian.
Throughout her years at Chatham High School, Alaina has participated in a variety of clubs and organizations including Model Congress, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and National Honor Society. She has also been involved in both chorus and band for all four years of high school.
Alaina has played on both the varsity soccer and softball teams at Chatham, remaining a scholar athlete throughout every season. She has received numerous awards including Student of the Quarter, Excellence in Effort, and Highest Average while staying on high honor roll every quarter.
Outside of school, Alaina has volunteered at St. James Church, Oakdale Lake, Columbia-Greene Humane Society, and the Ghent Food Pantry. In addition, she has been a member of the Faxon School of Dance for more than a decade.
In the fall, Alaina will be attending Cornell University where she plans to major in Applied Economics and Management.
