America's oldest underclassman a cappella singing group, The Yale Spizzwinks(?), will perform at Chatham High School this Friday, November 3 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults or $10 per family at the door.
The evening’s public concert follows the Spizzwinks performing for Chatham students during the school day and hosting a masterclass with Chatham High School’s tenor/bass a cappella group, The McDozen, who will also perform that evening.
The love of fine singing, fun and fellowship allows the Spizzwinks to entertain any audience anywhere with perfect harmony, infectious enthusiasm and timeless wit. Maintaining a broad repertoire of arrangements – jazz standards, ballads, show tunes, pop and rock music, traditional Yale College songs, and humorous numbers - they create an amazing performance. No Spizzwink performance would be complete, however, without a generous dose of choreography and their unique brand of humor. It is this perfect blend of humor, musicality and showmanship that leaves audiences of all ages begging for more the world over.
