As part of Chatham High School's monthly Capstone Skills Awards, the faculty selected the following students who demonstrated exceptional Communication , which was the featured Capstone Skill for February.
Freshman Ellery Pierce - Ellery is an effective communicator who has no problem asking questions in class. She clearly articulates both where she needs clarification and when she understands.
Sophomore Ruby Velasquez – Ruby asks great clarifying questions during class and isn't afraid to speak up when she needs more explanation. When she traveled out of the country this school year she communicated this ahead of time, with reminders before she left. Upon her return, she made sure to find time to get extra help and get caught up with what she missed.
Junior Lily Strattman – Lily always sends a professional and timely email when absent to request information about what is happening in class and how/when she should make things up.
Senior Tessa Wallace - Tessa is always speaking up in class and asking important questions. She does a great job communicating her needs.
