Fifth graders had an opportunity to join a service club that benefited the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Albany Medical Center. Sixteen students met weekly to learn how to knit baby hats using looms. Together they created 65 beautiful warm hats that they presented to Jordan Simmons, a nurse at Albany Med. Mrs. Gauthier and Ms. Grill, co-advisors of this club, are very proud of the students' accomplishments and hope they continue to involve themselves in community service and life-long crafting.
