Kindergarten Registration now open

Registration for the Class of 2038 is now open. Chatham’s digital registration information can be found here

Children must be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2025 to be eligible to attend kindergarten this fall. Registration requirements include the child’s birth certificate or other proof of age and proof of immunizations (see below), as well as two proofs of residency (electric or telephone bill, automobile insurance card, bank statement, driver’s license, lease or mortgage, etc.) showing street address, not post office box. Additionally, a physical examination is required to be on file by September 5. A valid physical exam for the 2025-2026 school year needs to have been completed after September 5, 2025.  

Required proofs of immunizations include:

  • Diphtheria and Tetanus toxoid-containing vaccine and Pertussis vaccine (DTap, DTP, Tdap) – 5 doses or 4 doses if the 4th dose was received at 4 years of age or older;

  • Polio vaccine (IPV/OPV) - 4 doses or 3 doses if the 3rd dose was received at 4 years of age or older;

  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine (MMR) -  2 doses;

  • Hepatitis B vaccine -  3 doses;

  • Varicella vaccine – 2 doses.
