October 30 was MED's first Effective School Assembly of the school year, during which celebrated our students and their collective achievement in class. October's theme was "Respect."
Mrs. Reno talked about respect and challenged the building to fill up posters by putting a sticker on them every time they witness a respectful act.
We also gave out several awards for outstanding effort, participation and behavior:
Golden Sneaker award for physical education - Mrs. Reichardt and Mrs. Kolb's class
Golden Library Book for library - Mrs. Daly's class
Golden Paintbrush for art - Mrs. Mulica's class
Golden Tambourine for music - Mrs. Daly's class
Golden Trashcan for the cleanest classroom - Ms. Gomm's class
Golden Whistle for recess - Ms. Brandow's class
Golden Cafeteria Tray for lunch - Mrs. Lineberry
These classes get to keep the trophies in their rooms until next month's assembly, which is themed "Gratitude."
And last but not least, a special Mrs. Reno Award was given to Gannon Leone for exhibiting outstanding character, cooperation, caring, and compassion towards his classmates. Way to go Gannon! We are so proud of you!
