In art class at MED, 2nd grade studied multicultural masks from all over the world! Mr. Roth and the students looked at what masks are made of, what they're inspired by, and then made their own. They practiced and developed 3-D building and construction skills, and working sketches and ideas into final products. After constructing their masks with paper and drawing supplies, they wrapped up the project with glitter and a photo shoot!
