Mrs. Ranita’s kindergarten class had a writers’ celebration on May 9! Students had been writing and illustrating books for the past few months during their writing time. Students picked topics that interested them to create their stories from, and during the celebration they read their books to each other. There was such a wide range of books from writing about vacations, dogs, horses and even a book about gems and crystals. When these young authors were done sharing their books they discussed future book ideas over juice and cake!
