Sixth Grade Supply List

Dear Chatham Middle School Families,
It is hard to believe that summer vacation will be over soon. We hope you had an enjoyable summer and are ready for a productive sixth-grade year.
The sixth-grade teachers are Mrs. Wallace, Mrs. Velez, Mrs. Ladd, Mrs. Richard, and Ms. Wrigley. Teacher pages/Google Classroom will inform you about projects, assignments, and special events. In addition, students are expected to use agenda books to record both long and short-term assignments. Agenda books will be provided by the district on the first day of school.
An important part of sixth grade is organization. You will need to bring the following items to the first day of school:
General Supplies
Zippered pencil case
5 packages of pencils
Eraser caps/erasers
Homework folder
Earbuds/Headphones
1 package of Post-it notes
1-2 glue sticks
1 package of colored pencils
Language Arts:
1 plastic red folder
Math:
Yellow 3-subject spiral notebook
1 yellow folder
3 dry erase markers
Optional Supply- Calculator
Science:
1 Composition Notebook
1 plastic green folder
Social Studies:
2-Subject notebook- blue
1 plastic folder
Richard Homeroom -Red
Wallace Homeroom-Green

All students need concert black bottoms and a black top
Students will need a working instrument.
Please email Mr. Eiser -BAND (eiserb@chatham.k12.ny.us) or Ms. Gruber - ORCHESTRA (grubera@chatham.k12.ny.us) if you need to rent an instrument from the school. Be sure to mark the concert dates on the calendar as soon as you receive them in September.
